Our mission

GG on Two Wheels exists to demonstrate that grief, when channelled into purpose, becomes a powerful force for good. We provide direct financial assistance and mental health support to individuals, families and organisations across central Scotland who are navigating the devastating impact of cancer - whether facing diagnosis, enduring treatment, living with terminal illness, or grieving the loss of someone to cancer.

Our values

• Compassion - Real help for real people, provided with real passion. We lead with empathy and understanding. Having lived through cancer loss ourselves, and witnessed its ripple effects on families, we know what it means to need help. We provide financial assistance and emotional support with dignity, respect and without judgment - because we've been there and have lived experience.

• Authenticity - Honest stories, genuine connection and transparent impact. George's journey is raw, vulnerable and real. We don't polish grief or manufacture emotion. Cancer is brutal, loss is devastating, and we don't pretend otherwise. Our storytelling is truthful, our adventures are documented as they happen, and our impact is reported transparently.

• Integrity - Trust earned through transparency and accountability. Every pound raised is tracked. Every grant given is recorded. Every promise made is kept. We operate with complete honesty, because trust is the foundation of meaningful charity.

• Solidarity - We are a community bound by cancer loss. Everyone connected to GG on Two Wheels - George, volunteers and supporters - has been touched by cancer. This isn't abstract charity work; it's personal. We understand the fear, the exhaustion, the financial strain, the grief. We're not outsiders offering pity — we're fellow travellers offering solidarity.

A personal commitment

George Talbot continues to champion the work of GG on Two Wheels through his personal motorbike ride challenges, helping to raise awareness of the support we provide across central Scotland. These rides are a reflection of his dedication to the charity and the people we help. Importantly, all costs related to these challenges are paid for personally by George - no charity funds are used, allowing us to maximise the support available to individuals and families who rely on our services.

Every motorbike challenge undertaken by George Talbot is completely self-funded - ensuring that charity funds remain dedicated to supporting those who need them most.
