Highlights

Day six was a rider's  mountain roads, sweeping bends, towering cliffs, and breathtaking views stretching for miles. Every turn revealed another incredible landscape, making it impossible not to stop every so often to take it all in.

The roads around Vielha and through the Pyrenees were simply spectacular. Smooth, winding mountain passes carved through the landscape, with steep drops on one side and rugged peaks on the other. It was the kind of riding that reminds you why you set off on an adventure like this in the first place.

As stunning as the scenery was, the real challenge came from the relentless heat. Temperatures soared above 42°C, turning every kilometre into a battle against the sun. Even the wind felt like someone was pointing a giant hairdryer at me, offering little relief. Riding in a kilt might normally keep things cool, but today it didn't make much difference!

Despite the scorching conditions, I managed to capture some incredible footage throughout the day. From panoramic shots on the front-mounted camera to sweeping countryside scenes and dramatic mountain roads, today's videos and photos should do justice to one of the most beautiful sections of the journey so far.

After 156.1 kilometres and 5 hours 40 minutes in the saddle, I rolled into La Seu d'Urgell tired, sun-baked, and ready for a cold drink. It had been one of the toughest days because of the heat, but without question one of the most rewarding. The Pyrenees delivered everything I had hoped for epic roads, unforgettable scenery, and another day I'll never forget
