Port Pirie
My first Christmas Day without Gaynor.
A quiet one… a reflective one… but a beautiful one too.
I stayed in Port Pirie today, giving myself time to rest and recover. The weather felt gentle clear skies, 25°C, and a soft breeze, almost like the day was being kind.
I didn’t rush the morning. Left around 8:30am, keeping the ride short and close to town. Christmas felt different this year slower, quieter but the road still gave me space to think.
I rode out to Wapma Ranger National Park, into the Bluff Mountains, then back to Port Pirie. Just me, the bike, and my thoughts.

Missing you today, Gaynor ❤️
One day at a time. One pedal stroke at a time.
