Good Morning – Day 17
The day began beautifully, starting at 19°C and warming to around 31°C, with clear skies throughout and soft winds in the afternoon.
Location: Stayed in Albany (first day of the New Year)
Weather: Clear all day, slight wind. Temperature ranged from 19°C to 31°C.
I had a great start at 6:00 AM. It was such a beautiful first day of the New Year, and I wanted to place Gaynor’s ashes.
I left my accommodation in Esperance and travelled along the famous 11 Mile Beach Road absolutely amazing. I was able to stop and place Gaynor’s ashes, which made the day especially meaningful.

East Naernup Nature Reserve
Overshot Hill Nature Reserve
I arrived in Albany and stayed there for the night.
