Crossing into Western Australia
Day 14 Nullarbor Roadhouse to Eucla
Overcast morning at 20°C, clearing beautifully by the afternoon and finishing around 26°C, with strong winds pushing across the plains. Fuelled up and rolled out at 7:30am,taking it slow on a shorter day.
Riding through the Great Australian Marine National Park was something special endless cliffs dropping into the ocean, sand dunes stretching forever. I stopped at the clifftop and laid Gaynor’s ashes there. Standing above the sea, with the wind and the vastness of the Nullarbor around me, it felt right. Peaceful. Powerful. A place full of freedom and she would have loved it ❤️
Continued through Eucla National Park and finished the day at Eucla Motel. Clean clothes, a quiet night, and time to reflect.
