Riding from Euroa to the Grampians National Park
Day 04 | Euroa to the Grampians Heat, Gravel & Big Mountain Views
Day four begins before the sun gets too high. I leave Euroa at 7:30am, chasing cooler air and open roads. At 35°C, it’s still hot but compared to yesterday, it feels like a small victory. Lighter riding gear, steady pacing, and plenty of water keep the day moving.
The ride unfolds through a constantly changing landscape rolling ranges, dense forests, long gravel roads, and quiet backcountry stretches. One park flows into the next:
Nagambie Range, Heath Greytown National Park, One Eye State Forest, Mount Alexander Regional Park, Redbank Nature Conservation Park until the road finally delivers me into the heart of the Grampians National Park.

This episode captures the rhythm of the ride.
Early-morning starts and roadside rest stops
Drone shots skimming low over forests and revealing the Grampians mountain range
Helmet cam moments through rough gravel, bridges, and old towns
Bike mounted footage of long straights, sweeping bends, and challenging surfaces
A quiet highlight, birds flying across the road as the bike rolls through the landscape
📸 Standout moment, An old ruined timber bridge over the river weathered, silent, and full of character.
This wasn’t just about the destination. It was about the long stretches between, the heat, the effort, and the reward of arriving somewhere truly special.
Thanks for riding along.
