"Don't count the days, make the days count"
Grief, when channelled into purpose, becomes a powerful force for good.
George's journey born from losing Gaynor to cancer is a living testament that one person, driven by love and loss, can create real and lasting change in the lives of families facing cancer.
"Don't count the days, make the days count"
This chapter was born from a place of profound love and a journey of healing. Through grief, GG was born not only as a name, but as a promise. A promise to honour Gaynor’s spirit, to keep moving forward, and to live life with the same courage and adventure she showed every day.
My dear wife, Gaynor, lost her long and brave fight with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and an adventurous spirit. My grief was immense, but in her memory, I chose to search for purpose and meaning on the open road.
Gaynor always encouraged me to chase my dreams. She knew my love for motorcycles matched her love for travel and for life itself. She made me promise to keep travelling. So I set out on a series of motorcycle expeditions, beginning with an ambitious 22 day ride across the vast Australian continent, from Sydney to Perth. Every mile I rode was for Gaynor a way to keep her adventurous spirit alive and to help me find a path forward.
Our Australian journey may be complete, but our mission is only just beginning.
The next chapter is set. Watch this space and follow us as we begin our new adventure to Barcelona.
